Texans Feeding Texans Request for Qualifications
As part of the Texas Department of Agriculture's (TDA) Texans Feeding Texans program, Harris County is currently accepting applications to receive a Harris County qualifying grant. To be eligible, organizations that receive Meals on Wheels funding must serve over their contracted amount for FY 2009. Agencies must complete a Harris County application to receive the County resolution form, required for TDA application.

Harris County has now closed Job Number 09/0240 Program Year 2010 (PY2010) Request for Proposal (RFP). This process was open from May 29, 2009 through June 29, 2009 to all applicants. Applications received will be evaluated based on the priorities of the Harris County PY2008-2012 Consolidated Plan.
