HOUSTON/HARRIS COUNTY COC

RAPID RE-HOUSING CASE MANAGEMENT INTERMEDIARY

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS PROGRAM YEAR 2015

 

Harris County Community Services Department, as part of the Houston/Harris County Continuum of Care Rapid Re-Housing Funding Collaborative in partnership with the Houston/Harris County Continuum of Care entitlement communities, which includes the City of Houston, Harris County and Fort Bend County announces the release of a Request for Qualifications for a Case Management Intermediary organization to support its new Rapid Re-Housing Program.  Eligible applicants for these funds include non-profit agencies that can manage multiple vendor agencies for case management/navigation services across the area, which includes Harris and Fort Bend Counties, and distribute and manage operating funds to these vendors.  For more information and to access the RFQ, interested parties should visit the City of Houston’s website by using the following link: http://www.houstontx.gov/housing/rfps-applications-and-downloads.  Information can be found under the PUBLIC SERVICES section.

City/County Collaborative Request for Proposals

 

Harris County is releasing this application in collaboration with the City of Houston and the Houston Housing Authority to achieve the Houston/Harris County Continuum of Care goal to end chronic homelessness in the county by 2016. To minimize duplication of effort in the application process, Harris County and the City of Houston have developed a joint application hosted by the City of Houston. The City of Houston and Harris County’s Guidebooks are posted below.

PROGRAM YEAR 2015 ENTITLEMENT FUNDING

Harris County has now opened Job Number #14/0155 for the Program Year 2015 (PY2015) Request for Proposals (RFP) for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG).  The Guidebook and Applications will be available from June 6, 2014 through July 7, 2014 to all eligible applicants through the Harris County Purchasing webpage (http://www.harriscountytx.gov/Purchasing/default.aspx). On Purchasing’s main page, click on Bid Listing in the left menu and follow the instructions to register with BuySpeed Online and gain access to Bid # 14/0155. Applications are due to the Harris County Purchasing Department, 1001 Preston, Suite 670 (6th Floor), Houston, Texas 77002 by July 7, 2014, at 2 pm.
