Harris County Social Services Department's Transportation division provides
round-trip transportation to non-emergency medical care and supportive service appointments for a wide range of client populations residing in Harris County.
The Harris County Coordinated Transportation Program -This service is a coupon based program for elderly and diasabled individuals that provides transportation to necessary locations in Harris County such as grocery stores, pharmacies and medical appointments.

The Dialysis Transportation Program - This service provides transportation to individuals experiencing end-stage renal failure, among other kidney ailments, and thus are required to undertake daily dialysis treatments at one of the many dialysis treatment centers located throughout Harris County. Eligible recipients must reside outside of Metro’s service area.
The Community Assistance Transportation program - provides transportation to clients for non-emergency medical appointments and newly secured housing placements made in conjunction with his or her Social Worker.
